Perhaps more than any other genre, Fresh Scouts loves rock and roll. Few types of music move us more than plain old rocked out guitar chords, a heavy drum beat, and a thrumming bass line. It’s refreshing. It’s cathartic. It’s American.
Bloomington, Illinois’s Backyard Tire Fire are one of the few bands left on this planet that know how to just write and perform basic, kickass rock. So you just know we had to track them down and get them talking about how and why they’re so good at what they do.
